Serivces Provided

It is our practice policy to promote a healthy lifestyle which helps prevent diseases such as heart attacks or strokes. If you have not attended for some time you may receive letters inviting you for check –ups at specific clinics. Other services provided include acute and chronic disease management, Maternity services, Child Health Surveillance and Vaccinations, Family Planning Advice, Smoking Cessation Advice, Cervical Smear Screening, Terminal Care, Minor Surgery, Bereavement Counselling

Minor Ailment

If you have a minor ailment eg. common cold, sore throat, hay fever simply call into the local pharmacy and ask to speak to the Pharmacist. He will ask you some questions about your sickness and will then give you advice and may prescribe simple remedies. These should be taken as recommended by the Pharmacist. If the Pharmacist thinks your condition should be seen by the Doctor he will advise you to make an appointment.

Non-NHS Serivces

Medicals for Heavy Goods Vehicles, Public Service Vehicle Licences, Drivers Licences and Pre-Employment Medicals can be arranged by contacting the Receptionist. Similarly private sick notes and medical reports for Insurance Claims. As these are non-NHS services they will incur a fee. Please refer to our notice board or ask at Reception to ascertain fee before booking such an appointment.

Other Services

A Podiatrist comes to the Surgery once a month to monitor our Diabetic Patient’s footcare. This is in addition to chiropody services provided at Lisnaskea and Enniskillen. A Dietician comes once a month to advise our Diabetic Patients about proper dietary intake.
